Passion

What drives you (crazy)?

In English, 'passion' is both a powerful emotion and the object of such an emotion. Our understanding of our own passions are complex. On the one hand, we often need to control or subdue our passions. On the other hand, a life without passion seems to be dissatisfying.

So what are we to do about our passions? Can passions be trained? What happens when we lose passion? Is passion uniquely human?
